I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Psychodynamic Ego States/parts work. We’ll work collaboratively to create your individualized treatment plan using the best strategies from these interventions.

Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing is widely known as an effective treatment for recent traumatic events such as car accidents and injuries or for childhood trauma. It’s an accelerated interactive mind-body approach that uses bilateral stimulation including tapping and eye movements. EMDR can treat a variety of symptoms and conditions beyond trauma including anxiety and self-critical thoughts/doubt. Is EMDR is a good fit for you?


Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a type of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is based on mindfulness practices, acceptance. This approach provides useful coping skills.

You will learn how to use crisis survival strategies, manage painful emotions and decrease conflict in your relationships.


Exposure to a traumatic event can be very disruptive and you feeling shaken, afraid and numb. You experience a loss of control over how you think, feel, and interact socially. The brain and body need an opportunity to process or digest what happened to you. There are several effective trauma-informed therapies available.
